Dogs Boarding

Boarding

Dog Boarding Facility

Dutton Road Veterinary Clinic welcomes your dog in our special boarding area 365 days a year. We currently board over 600 dogs annually with a 24 hour caretaker on the premise. The building has a complete smoke and fire detection system plus interior and exterior surveillance. Our kennel staff is on hand from 6am-10pm daily to give your pet the care it deserves.

Rules

All dogs must be current with vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Coronavirus and Bordatella). If your pet requires vaccinations, they must be administered at least 10 days before boarding time. Please have your veterinarian fax your pet's proof of vaccinations to our office prior to boarding. (215-331-1947)

Reservation

Call our office at 215-331-7918 to schedule a reservation. (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm) Boarding rates are $25 for first day and $18 for each additional day.
Arrival and Departure: 8:30-10:30am and 2:00-4:30pm. Other hours must be arranged and are subject to a $10 per dog charge.

Interior

Dogs enjoy our clean and comfortable climate-controlled kennel where soothing music plays in the background and clouds of light filter the rooms. The cages with raised plush beds are large enough for a kennel staff member to walk into. Your dog will be fed twice a day and exercised four times a day in either one of our three interior turnout areas (during bad weather days) or one of our two large 20 x 100 ft fenced-in outdoor boarding area spaces.

Personal Belongings

Pets are welcome to bring their favorite toys, blankets and treats. Medications or special food should accompany your pet. Please bring these items in a sealed container. Administering of medication is subject to a $2 per day fee.

Recommendations

Always leave with us phone numbers where you and your veterinarian can be reached. If your pet should require medical attention while in our care, we will contact your veterinarian.

Jot down information that we can use to communicate with your pet; especially you dog's routine, habits and personality traits.

Boarding time is a good time for dental cleaning, vaccinations and other clinical services. Your dog will be treated to nail clipping and ear cleaning. Bathing is available at $20.
