Cysts

Cysts are lumps or bumps that grow on the inside or outside of the body. They are hollow sacs that are soft and contain liquid or solid non-painful red inflamed material and can be moved around in a small area.

Treatment

These lumps usually do not cause harm, but should be checked as a precaution. Veterinarians may be able to drain the cyst and treat with antibiotics. Surgery may be required if the cyst recurs.
