Glaucoma is pressure buildup in the eyeball that overtime can cause serious damage to the structure of the eye and can cause blindness.
Symptoms
Common signs are swollen or hard eyeball, redness in the eye, an enlarged pupil, squinting and pawing or rubbing at the eye.
Treatment
Managing pain, decreasing the pressure in the eyeball, and preventing blindness with eye drops, oral medication or surgery are some of the treatments for Glaucoma.
