Hearing Loss

Just like people, pets can lose some or all of their hearing. Sometimes an ear inflection, a ruptured eardrum, blocked ear canals or fluid in the ear can occur and treatment can bring back some of the hearing. Sometimes only one ear is affected.

Symptoms

Common signs are not responding to being called, not noticing noises from behind, or being startled when approached from behind.

Treatment

If you begin to notice that your pet is developing hearing problems then start teaching hand signals so you can communicate with it. You can use a flashlight or stomp on the floor, so he can sense the vibration, to get his attention.

We promise to take good of your pet

..to always have you and your pet’s interest at heart. Whether your pet is just having an annual checkup or requires major surgery, you can count on our veterinarians and staff to give your pet the best possible care using the most advanced technology and equipment.
