Senior Pets
Watch for changes that may indicate disease or issues that require adjustments in your pet’s care. Talk to your veterinarian if you notice a change in your pet’s general attitude, appetite, thirst and elimination habits or if vomiting, diarrhea and coughing occur. Semiannual exams are recommended.
As your pet’s activity declines, you may need to change diet to decrease protein and calories.
More frequent grooming can prevent skin conditions and also allows you to inspect your pet.
