Vision Loss

Vision loss

Symptoms

Slow vision loss is harder to detect. Your pet may begin bumping into objects, appear clumsy, look lost or disoriented or become easily startled.

Treatment

If your pet's vision is impaired then it is important to keep furniture and other objects in the same place so not to disorient or injure your pet. Wear a small bell on your wrist or belt so your pet knows where you are and try to teach him cues like “careful” or “watch out” to warn it of an obstacle.
